Congratulations to our 2022 scholarship winner, Cade Moses!
The Sharon Woods Civic Association is pleased to present our 2022 scholarship to Cade Moses. Cade is a lifelong resident of Sharon Woods, his family having moved here before he was born. He is a graduate of Chrysalis Academy. Next year, Cade is off to Cedarville University where he will study broadcasting and digital media. He hopes to be a news anchor one day.
Cade’s two passions are his faith and football, and he has found a way to pursue those passions through his extensive volunteer history.
Cade regularly serves others through TeenPact Leadership Schools, a nationwide organization that teaches high school students more about the political process and valuable leadership skills while encouraging them to deepen their Christian faith. In fact, the day before Cade was awarded the scholarship, he returned from the weeklong TeenPact National Convention in Tennessee.
Cade also served as a volunteer and played on the football team of the Columbus Crusaders, a local Christian sports ministry that teaches excellence in athletics balanced with intentional character-building. Cade’s football coaches had such a positive influence on his life that he hopes to return as a volunteer coach and help others.
